#JAMSTYLESTORIES – Layering Made Simple
Campus Kings and Queens – you’re up!
Ready to stand out, turn heads, glow up or get some attention? Or just want your next look to give you confidence to take on the day? You’re in the right place! Keep reading for your second slice of #JAMSTYLESTORIES.
Stay true to you
You never want to look like something you’re not. Dress for your unique personality and remember, comfort is always in style. Think easy-going yet stylish. Start with comfy basics like well-fitted jeans paired with a statement top or relaxed button-up shirt. You can’t go wrong with a simple formula – and you can always add personality with accessories like sunnies, a headscarf, colourful socks, some statement footwear or a bold backpack.
But also, try something new!
The rules are yours to make or break and this is the time to experiment with your style. Ask a friend to put together an outfit for you – you might be surprised by how much you like it! And if you’re trying something new, start with one item at a time and get a feel for it. Mix a print you want to try (like a fun gingham check) with plains so you can let the print shine. Tired of jeans? Give them a break and try out a new style like cargo pants or joggers.
Feet first
Sneakers are always a good choice. You need to get from A to B in comfort, but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your style. High tops, platforms, classic lace-ups: the world of sneakers is a student’s playground! And who says you can’t wear crazy socks with slip-ons? Leave the serious stuff for later and make a statement with your footwear.
