The hottest winter accessory to keep you toasty? The blanket scarf – duh!
You could rush out & break the bank to get your hands on the "it" piece this winter, but....
Why should you, when we have the simplest DIY you have ever come across right here (seriously it's like 2 steps!)??
What you'll need:
– 1.5m of thick knit fabric (make sure it frays!)
– Fabric scissors
1. Cut your fabric into the biggest rectangular shape your piece allows for.
2. To get the frayed edges, you have two options:
a. You can pull out the horizontal threads until the frayed edges are as long as you'd like – then simply put a small stitch in each corner to prevent any further fraying.
b. Pull out the horizontal threads until the frayed edges are your desired length. Then gather small sections and tie them into knots to prevent any more fraying & get that knotted fray effect.
And BAM – You're sorted – now wrap yourself up and rock it!
Trust us you'll be envy of all you friends this winter, firstly for being so warm, and secondly for looking so hot ;)
